The key signifiers in the video was the sounds and the music. I think the sounds signify that the programme is going to be an adventure and like something is going to get revealed.
The video tells us that the women are going to be naughty because there was an apple at the start and Adam and Eve, women weren't allowed to eat apple so I think they are going to have a difficult and hard life.
I think middle aged women are targeted as its about housewives and women so women are going to want to watch the programme.
Sex And The City
The key signifiers in the video is the image of the women. She is wearing a fancy pink dress and I think the colour of the dress signifies beauty and romance.
The video tells us that the women is unfortunate and she has a good look on New York but it seems that everything gets turned away from her and she is unlucky.
I think this is aimed towards women and especially younger women as she seems to be young.
Prison Break
The key signifiers in the video was the sound and the pace of how quick everything was happening. They signify that a lot of action is going to happen and its going to be exciting. There are prison bars so they signify that the police are obviously involved.
The video tells us that a lot of bad things are going to happen as there is a car crash involved with a women crying after. I expect a lot of action and pain from the characters as the women looked stressed out and the men seemed angry because of their serious face.
I think this is aimed towards men as its based around men and the pace is a lot quicker. There is a lot of action involved including a prison so men would prefer to watch it rather than women.
Orange Is The New Black
The key signifies in the video is the zoom on their face. The fact there is no escape happening or quick action signifies that this is more personal and its more about them and their relationship inside the prison. Prison break video signifies action because of the quick pace and the car crash but Orange is the new black signifies their personal life and how everything happened.
The video tells us that this going to be about their personal life and about relationships with other people rather than trying to break and escape out the prison. I expect more of a story about the girls lives rather than escape and action.
I think this is aimed more towards women even if there is a prison, this is because I think its more about their personal life.
